A massive Mickey Mouse exhibition is currently on in Melbourne

The sprightly Mickey Mouse is looking pretty good for his age, having recently turned 90 years old.

For Mickey’s 90th birthday party, a huge array of artists have created an art exhibition in his honour called Mickey Mouse Arthouse.

The exhibition, which features 90 artists and 90 original works of art, has taken over the floors, walls and staircases behind the Shot Tower at Melbourne Central. It will run there until January 28.

The price is absolutely right – even the event is free.

The Mickey Mouse Arthouse exhibition was curated by Eddie Zamit and produced by Radio Velvet.

It features local and international artists including Jamie Browne, Confetti Studio, Vince Frost, Justine McAllister, Travis Price and George Rose.

Mickey fanatics might also want to take something home with them. They can do that by buying various goodies from the Mickey-merch shop, which is open until December 1.
