How to watch the tense erotic thriller Fatale in Australia

In the grand tradition of Basic Instinct and Fatal Attraction, there’s a new searing erotic thriller headed to cinemas soon. Heck, it even sounds super similar to the latter film, titled Fatale and starring Hilary Swank as the one girl at the club Michael Ealy shouldn’t have gotten mixed up with.

Fatale is now available to rent or buy on demand for Australian audiences; you can peep at its seductive and suspenseful trailer right below.

Swank was a terrific baddie in last year’s twisted satire The Hunt, teaching us how to safely chop tomatoes and how to establish a political battle royale arena at the same time (you gotta use a serrated knife for tomatoes apparently, otherwise the juice just squirts out and gets everywhere. Game-changing bruschetta hack TBH).

Here, she’s the femme fatale of the title, sharing a night of ecstasy with a handsome married stranger and then seemingly ruining his life by abusing her power as a police detective.

“This wasn’t part of the plan,” Ealy’s cheating character bemoans partway through the trailer above. But it’s that exciting off-the-rails unpredictability that draws audiences back to thrillers. Unfortunately for Ealy, we can’t wait to see exactly how this doomed one-night-stand will shape up.

If you’re in the mood for a little neo-noir sex and violence, you can rent or buy Fatale via Google Play, the Prime Video store, Apple TV, or wherever else you access on demand titles.
