If you’re still a bit misty-eyed over the cancellation of reality TV juggernaut Keeping Up with the Kardashians, help is at hand. Everyone’s favourite “famous for being famous” family is back with a new reality series, simply titled The Kardashians, which is now up to its fourth season… which is a bit weird because it only debuted in April of 2022.

What is The Kardashians season 4 about?
Essentially Lifestyles of the Rich and Shameless, The Kardashians follows the exploits of the sprawling, ultra-wealthy Kardashian-Jenner clan as they do whatever it is they do. Previous areas of focus have included Kim hosting Saturday Night Live, her efforts to become a lawyer, Kourtney’s wellness blog, Khloé dealing with on again/off again boyfriend Tristan Thompson’s serial infidelity, and so on. So expect more in the same vein, we guess.

Pretty self-explanatory, we would have thought, but in detail: sisters Kourtney, Kim, and Khloé Kardashian; half-sisters Kendall and Kylie Jenner; family matriarch Kris Jenner; plus various partners, ex-partners, friends, and hangers-on. Previously we’ve seen Travis Scott, Travis Barker, Kanye West, Tristan Thompson, Scott Disick, Corey Gamble, and Pete Davidson show up, and we’re sure at least a few of them will appear again.

What are the critics saying about The Kardashians season 4?
Reviews of the new season are a bit thin on the ground at the moment, but the critical consensus on previous seasons indicates that they’re not likely to be fans of this new offering, which is all but guaranteed to be more of what has kept fans glued to their screens ever since Keeping Up with the Kardashians debuted way back 2007. It did win an MTV Award for Best Docu-Reality Show earlier this year, though, so make of that what you will.
