Weekend box office: Venom defeats First Man to claim top spot again

Venom won’t be disappearing from the zeitgeist anytime soon. In bad news for new films, the Tom Hardy blockbuster chalked up $4.09M in its second weekend. First Man‘s giant leap wasn’t enough to get the top spot; it grossed $2.31 million.

Here are the top ten films at the Australian box office, October 11 to October 14.
