We’re hanging out for Dead To Me season 2, a tale of murderous frenemies

Starring ya girls Christina Applegate and Linda Cardellini, Netflix‘s Dead To Me was one of 2019’s most pleasant surprises: a frequently thrilling murder mystery about two strangers becoming the best of friends. Packing warm romantic comedy and wild cliffhangers into highly bingeable 30 minute episodes, chances are that if you watched Dead to Me, you watched it in one sitting.

And now, just when the world needed it most, a trailer has dropped for season two! With the entire next season dropping on May 8, we can all speed through the next chapter in Jen and Judy’s rollercoaster journey to cover up their various crimes.

It’s been some time since the last season of Dead To Me, so here’s your quick refresher: the series began with Applegate’s uptight mum of two, Jen, mourning the death of her husband, after he was killed in a mysterious hit-and-run incident. Enter Judy: the bohemian burst of energy and new BFF Jen met in grief counseling therapy.

By the end of the series’ pilot, we learnt that Judy and her douchey husband Steve were responsible for the death of Jen’s husband! Which meant that the closer and closer Judy got to Jen (to the point of moving in together, and basically being co-mums!!), her lies were forced to get bigger and bigger.

If you haven’t watched season one yet, the above trailer gives away some of its most juicy plot twists, so be sure to get up to date via Netflix before taking the plunge.

Until May 8, you can enjoy some of the reactions on Twitter, where fans are losing it over the news that their favourite manslaughterin’ frenemies are coming back.
