The tables turn on an art dealer (Golden Globe nominee Alain Delon, The Leopard) who takes advantage of those persecuted by the Nazis in this Cannes Grand Jury Prize-nominated WWII-set drama helmed by Joseph Losey (The Servant).

Merchant-Ivory drama, based on the Jean Rhys novel, follows Marya, recently made destitute when her husband was convicted of theft, and a strange couple, The Heidlers, who invite the young woman to move in with them.

Burt Lancaster stars in this John Frankenheimer wartime thriller as a station master and French resistance fighter trying to prevent the theft of valuable artworks by a Nazi colonel who has secured a train to get the paintings to Germany.
