True-blue and brand new: season 3 of Bluey arrives this month!

The ABC’s biggest family streaming hit will arrive on screens later this month for its dog-gone delightful third season. If your own litter of puppies have watched and rewatched the past two seasons of Bluey way too many times, you’re in luck!

Season three of Bluey will air on the ABC this November 22, playing new episodes daily at 8am and 6.20pm. You can also check out the episodes in your own time via ABC’s digital streaming platform iView.

Created by Joe Brumm, Bluey is a bright and bouncy animated series about a family of blue heelers: mum and dad Chilli and Bandit, the titular, tireless six-year-old, and her little sister Bingo. Although the cuddly, rounded aesthetic of the show is pure family fantasy, there’s plenty about Bluey that makes the show so authentic and popular amongst real families around the world…to the point where US viewers have reported that their kids will use words like “dunny” and “brekky”.

The biggest focus of Bluey has always been the unrestrained joy and power of play, especially when it’s driven by kids’ own imaginations. Season 3’s trailer below shows off more games, gags, and family moments that your own household might pick up.

The ABC has announced Aussie guest stars in the new season’s voice cast, including “Myf Warhurst, Megan Washington, Leigh Sales, Sam Simmons, Sean Choolburra, and singer/songwriter Darren Hanlon”, but there’s also some “top secret” names we may have to prick up our ears to notice.

If you missed it back in September, there’s also an adorable Father’s Day special to check out before season 3 kicks off. Every beloved blue dog has its day, and it seems November 22 of this year belongs to Bluey.
