The Student and Mister Henri

A 2015 French comedy-drama film written and directed by Ivan Calbérac and based on Calbérac's 2012 play of the same name. Starring Claude Brasseur, Guillaume de Tonquedec, Noémie Schmidt and Frédérique Bel.

In ailing health and no longer able to afford to live alone in his Paris apartment, cantankerous old widower Henri (Brasseur) is forced to take on a young student roommate named Constance (Schmidt). Struggling at school and with her relationship with her father, Constance also finds it difficult to pay rent despite finding a job as a waitress. In exchange for a rent waiver, Henri forces her to seduce his son Paul (de Tonquedec), whom he despises, in order to separate him from his wife Valerie (Bel).
