Review: The Pursuit of Happyness
An enjoyable downer.Yeah I enjoyed this. It's pretty standard in many ways, but being a true story it has a resonance. This guy went through terrible bad luck and terrible poverty. You felt sometimes he made his own luck, other times it was just a bad circumstance.
I liked that they didn't hide his temper etc. and Jaden Smith - the young boy - was amazing. The person I saw it with thought it was a bit of a downer, which is kind of true, but I enjoyed it nonetheless.
