Documentary exploring the personal and professional dilemmas of young Dutch architect Mark Hemel who, after winning an international competition, seems to have achieved his highest ambition with his first assignment – the world’s tallest TV tower in Guangzhou, China.
Working alongside his wife, architect Barbara Kuit, at first it appears that this tower will be his calling card and may give both of them the opportunity to move to China – a country where, they believe, there still is room for extraordinary ideas and the will to transform these ideas into reality. But disappointments and challenges arise as soon as the project starts.
