Le Chef

Jean Reno plays a veteran chef in this French gastronomic comedy, facing off against his restaurant's CEO who wants to bring in a younger replacement. More

"Star chef Alexandre Lagarde (Reno) is in serious conflict with Stanislas Matter (Julien Boisselier), the new CEO of the group that owns his restaurant. Matter is plotting to have him lose one Michelin star in the next edition of the Guide, and replace him with a young 'modern' chef who advocates a chemical, molecular cuisine. Lagarde has run out of ideas... but as luck would have it, he meets Jacky (Michaël Youn) - an aficionado of haute cuisine." (Berlin Film Festival 2011)
