This film badly needs a hefty dose of homo-erotism to make the characters interact with any kind of meaning. Its a hot hot ride through the desert - lets see it in their eyes ... masquerading as serious, but actually very flimsy, "Lawrence of Arabia" is probably still very popular as a Saturday night entertainment at boys boarding schools across the english language world ...

Hour-long docu would make an OK curtainraiser for airings of the movie or as a preface to Lean events.
