Dwayne Johnson and Jason Statham lead this buddy cop Fast & Furious spin-off helmed by Deadpool 2 director and John Wick co-creator, David Leitch.
Sworn enemies Hobbs (Johnson) and Shaw (Statham) partner up to bring down cyber-genetically enhanced anarchist Brixton (Idris Elba) before he uses his control of a biological weapon to alter humanity forever.
It’s a sci-fi comedy action mashup that gets the tone all wrong, squandering the giddy casting of the two action behemoths it has as leads. There was magic in this franchise for a while, but its gas tank of goodwill is slowly being drained and Hobbs & Shaw pushes it dangerously close to empty.

So good on ya', Hobbs and Shaw, you did what the trailer promised and more – you didn't stint on the action or effects and you sent this hack home happy enough to have watched you. I couldn't really ask for more.
