Global, experimental documentary covering scenes of natural events and human activity, shot at 152 locations across 23 countries over a 14-month period. Roger Ebert famously said of the film: "If man sends another Voyager to the distant stars and it can carry only one film on board, that film might be Baraka."

Baraka was the first film in over twenty years to be photographed in the 70mm Todd-AO format.
