How to watch Mayans MC season 5 in Australia

Jax Teller may be dead—along with about 90% of the cast—but Sons of Anarchy lived on, in the form of spin-off/sequel Mayans M.C. We say “lived” because, like all things, that series is also coming to an end. But never fret, road brothers, because the fifth and final season of Mayans M.C. is now available for Australains to stream its entirety on BINGE and Foxtel Now.

Set some two-and-a-half years after the (disappointing, TBH) finale of Sons of Anarchy and created by Kurt Sutter and Elgin James, Mayans M.C. follows the fortunes of Ezekiel “EZ” Reyes (J.D. Pardo) as he rises in the ranks of the eponymous outlaw biker gang from lowly prospect to President of the Santo Padre Chapter.

As faithful fans know, he’s certainly got his hands full in the top job, not only running heroin for Soledad (Selene Luna), the jefa of Lobos New Generation, a Mexican drug cartel, but getting into an all-out gang war with the San Bernadino chapter of the Sons of Anarchy, led by Isaac Packer (JR Bourne).

Meanwhile, EZ’s brother, Angel Reyes (Clayton Cardenas), while still a member of the club, is starting to think that raising his baby son Maverick with Luisa “Adelita” Espina (Carla Baratta) might be more important than cracking skulls with the Mayans. Little does he know that Adelita is a sicario for Lobos New generation on the sly. The Reyes hermanos’ father, Felipe (Edward James Olmos), hopes to free his grandson from the generational cycles of violence the family is trapped on, but let’s face facts: the odds are slim.

Tighter, more focused and even more violent than its predecessor (if that’s even possible), Mayans M.C. hasn’t won the wide acclaim that Sons of Anarchy did, but has earned a devoted audience nonetheless. If you’re not yet among them, all five seasons are now ready to roll.
