Mockingjay Part 2 (second week in release, now with a total gross of $19.5 million) and Spectre (third week in release, total gross now $27 million) hold onto first and second spot / Adam Sandler’s family animation Hotel Transylvania 2 opens at number 2 while Rocky continuation Creed opens at number 3 / The Dressmaker continues a strong run, still in the top 5 after 5 weeks in release and with total gross of $15.7 million / Ron Howard’s Moby Dick-ish By the Sea had advanced previews over the weekend (opens proper this week) which lifted it to number 9 / Lance Armstrong drama The Program opened outside the top 10, 14th, with $86,761 gross
