Sam Raimi-produced American remake of the Japanese horror hit about a house cursed by vengeful spirits.

After the disappearance of the previous care worker, an exchange student living in Tokyo (Sarah Michelle Gellar) is sent to look after a woman suffering from dementia. There she encounters a ghost, and begins to research past events in the house that have unleashed a deadly force.
