Tangled is snappily paced and easy enough to get wrapped up in, propelled by a set of jaunty, serviceable songs from venerable composer Alan Menken and lyricist Glenn Slater.
Full reviewDisney's 50th full length animated feature film is Tangled – a telling of fairy tale Rapunzel. From the makers of Bolt.
When the kingdom’s most wanted, and most charming, bandit Flynn Rider is taken hostage by Rapunzel (voiced by Mandy Moore) – a feisty teen with 20 metres of golden hair who’s looking for her ticket out of the tower where she’s been locked away for years – the unlikely duo sets off on an escapade filled with "adventure, heart, humour and hair, lots of hair".

Full reviewA passably entertaining hodgepodge of old and new animation techniques, mixed sensibilities and hedged commercial calculations.
