An excellent film version of Ira Levin's diabolical chiller novel.

Mia Farrow excels as the pretty young thing who suspects she's carrying the spawn of Satan, but it's Polanski who emerges as the real star.

It is a creepy film and a crawly film, and a film filled with things that go bump in the night. It is very good.

One of the best horrors - Polanski at his peak. Psychologically engaging, even non-horror fans will find it beautifully done.
