Full review1980s high school classic written by the great John Hughes (The Breakfast Club), starring Molly Ringwald as a not-so-popular teen caught between the affections of the rich new guy (Andrew McCarthy) and her best friend (Jon Cryer). Co-stars Annie Potts, James Spader and Harry Dean Stanton. Cryer’s Two and a Half Men co-star Charlie Sheen also auditioned for the role of Blane.
