Walt Disney’s follow-up to Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (at the time the highest grossing film ever and the first full-length animated movie) was Pinocchio – the story of wood-carver Geppetto and his puppet creation Pinocchio, brought to life by a blue fairy. Based on the 1883 childrens book by Carlo Collodi. Named the second best animated movie of all time by the American Film Institute in 2008. More

Pinocchio is promised life as a real boy if he can prove himself "brave, truthful and unselfish". He embarks on the journey with the help of his personified conscience Jiminy Cricket and a host of other characters. Features the iconic tune When You Wish Upon a Star which picked up the Best Original Song Oscar.
