Paranormal Activity
From first time director Oren Peli, found footage horror Paranormal Activity tracks the story of a young couple who move into what seems like a typical suburban house until they become increasingly disturbed by a presence they experience in the middle of the night.
In the style of The Blair Witch Project, all of the low budget handi-cam footage is presented as if it had been discovered after the fact, shot by the couple as they experience these strange happenings. Shot on a miniscule budget of $15,000, Paranormal Activity went on to gross $193 million worldwide, and inspired equally successful sequels. To date the four films in the series, made for just over $13 million altogether, have earned $714 million.

Good Movie
Paranormal Activity is a cool movie but not that scary. Of course I don't believe in ghosts and didn't go to be scared. I went to enjoy it and have my own opinion, yet most of the audience was probably going for a pretty good scare and it sounded to me like they got one. So for me it wasn't scary but i still thought it was a very good film.

I found myself so worked up for this movie, as many people had said theyd gotten frights etc, however on walking out of the cinema i felt disappointed...there was a few bits i felt could have been changed i.e the footprints - but in the end for what it was i guess it was ok...i didnt get one fright??

Waste of money & time
I love horror movies. This was a waste of my time & money. If you have seen the trailer you have seen the the sacriest part of the movie. The rest of the time was waiting for the movie to actually do something sacrry.. It was sacrier waiting for the popcorn to pop at the counter!!!!

pressParanormal" ultimately does deliver in a way that "Blair Witch" never did, but its achingly slow buildup is a test not just of an audience's patience but the power of hype surrounding the latest alternative scary movie.
