Sugary rather than toothsome, this perma-grinned musical wears thin pretty fast.
Full reviewAustralian romantic comedy featuring the movie debut of singer Ronan Keating. When young mum Elspeth (British stage actress Laura Michelle Kelly), mother of raucous twin boys, installs a webcam in her kitchen, she transforms into an internet sensation with her peppy songs. While her husband James (Keating) is off saving the world’s whales, she finds herself forced to choose between her newfound fame and her family.
The movie is based on the stage play Sinksongs written and performed by Joanna Weinberg (co-writer here). From the director of My Mother Frank.
