Oh, happy day! Samuel L. Jackson and Kurt Russell will join Quentin Tarantino in Australia to promote the highly anticipated Western The Hateful Eight in 70mm.
Tarantino, Jackson and Russell will walk the red carpet in Sydney on Wednesday, January 13 at Event Cinemas George Street for the Australian premiere. The threesome will also conduct a press junket on Thursday, January 14 and a Q&A screening at the Cremorne Orpheum, before heading to Melbourne for a Q&A screening at Village Cinemas Rivoli on Sunday January 17 and a press junket on January 18 (NB – Jackson to be confirmed in Melbourne).

The Hateful Eight will screen in glorious 70mm widescreen for a one week exclusive season from January 14 at the following locations: Event Cinemas George Street, Cremorne Orpheum and The Ritz Cinema in Sydney; and Village Cinemas Rivoli, The Astor Cinema and Sun Theatre Yarraville in Melbourne.
The standard version of The Hateful Eight opens in cinemas January 21.
