How to watch Castlevania’s fourth season of anime vampire carnage in Australia

Video game adaptations will seemingly always get a bad rap, but it seems that Castlevania has the right idea: adapting the vampiric Nintendo series into an anime-style Netflix series, without stripping away any of the specificities that fans flock towards.

It’s a pity, then, that Castlevania‘s fourth season will be its last. While Netflix does have plans to spin-off into a further series set in the Castlevania universe, the official trailer below is for the last episodes of Trevor Belmont, Alucard and Sypha Belnades.

All episodes of Castlevania‘s fourth season are now streaming on Netflix, available for subscribers to watch the gorgeously-animated bloodshed in one grisly binge sesh.

Set in Romania in the 1450s, the series has followed a group of monster hunters as they try to stop Count Dracula from seeking revenge on humanity after the execution of his wife. It’s great to hear the mostly British voice cast ripping through Gothic dialogue in the trailer below, replete with perhaps anachronistic F-bombs.

Richard Armitage and Theo James are among the lead cast members, but Castlevania‘s last few seasons have also surprisingly featured Bill Nighy, Peter Stormare, Jessica Brown-Findlay, and Malcolm McDowell as some of our dark medieval supporting characters.
