You, Me And Dupree

Review: You, Me And Dupree

Pah! This is predictable Hollywood at its worst. Matt Dillon tries his best and Kate Hudson looks wonderful, but the jokes and plot are too obvious and not worth the wait once delivered. Owen Wilson delivers a walk thru performance, he is resting too much on his persona which by now is not that funny.

Michael Douglas is interesting the few times he is on screen, but never gets a chance to develop his "jealous dad" character fully.

The lone bright spot for me was the Dupree interview scene which was brilliant. Two or three more job interview scenes and fewer pratfalls would have made the movie a little more enjoyable for me.
