Welcome to New York (2014)

Inspired by the Dominique Strauss-Kahn case, this lurid drama about money, sex and power is led by Gérard Depardieu as Devereaux, a character based on Strauss. From the director of Bad Lieutenant.

Kahn threatened to sue the filmmaker for slander due to the close similarities to the case, and the portrayal of the lead as a sex-addict. The controversial film was not selected to be shown in French cinemas.
