Inspired by a true story. Pierre Dulane (Antonio Banderas), a professional ballroom dancer, volunteers to teach at a poor New York public school. His classical methods clash with the students' hip hopping ways, so he works with them to merge the two styles into a new dance form.

Antonio still has it... whatever IT is...
here we have it.... another teacher/mentor movie - but with a dancing twist. Antonio Banderas takes the role of Pierre Dulaine in his stride (no pun intended) but looks mildly uncomfortable delivering some of the more involved lines ... he gives it a good crack though.... but nice to see a man that can move his hips with confindence - and very well...

Antonio Banderas is really good as Pierre Dulaine and the rest of the cast don't let him down (which is surprising considering Yaya from 'Americas Next Top Model' is a lead role).
