Mike Weiss (Evans) runs a small time 'no win, no fee' personal injury law firm with his mate and business partner Paul Danziger (Mark Kassen). When an ER nurse from the local hospital is pricked with a contaminated needle, she brings her case to the firm. Expecting a quick pay day the lawyers take it on, but in digging into the specifics they discover a supply conspiracy that involves the highest echelons of the American health care industry. Aware of their sniffing around, a league of big time lawyers are unleashed pitting Weiss and Danziger in the ultimate courtroom David and Goliath battle.
