One Night with the King

One Night with the King
The Biblical tale of Esther, an orphaned Jewish peasant who becomes the Queen of Persia. The film attempts to revive the old school, Hollywood Biblical epic, and comes with a ringing endorsement from the American Bible Society. Choice aye!

"Chronicles the life of a young Jewish girl, Hadassah, who wins the heart of the "fiercely" handsome King Xerxes and becomes Esther, the Queen of Persia. As Queen, she saves the Jewish nation from annihilation at the hands of its arch enemy."
