I won't lie to you, National Treasure: Book of Secrets isn't worth seeing and I'm just not in the mood for making excuses. It’s bland, unexciting, uninvolving; really just a copy of the original, which was a copy of the Da Vinci Code, which was a copy of some other book which there was a lawsuit about.

Interesting

Unless you are going to rip this movie apart bit by bit like a group of very overweight women running to the girl scouts cookie booth from a exercise class its not that bad! The US President as one of the heros... yuk. Stay away from this film!

Did anyone else feel like throwing up when the president of the United States came up as one of the heroes of this flick. I don't mind mindless drivel but the republican propaganda kills me. Highly Entertaining!

No, it is not a great movie, but it definitely is a fun and entertaining movie. The total domestic (USA) receipts for this movie as of this weekend's box office take is $187,000,000. We liked it and probably will buy the DVD when it comes out sometime this spring or early summer. Sure, it's a formulaic movie, but it's formula that seems to work so far....

Graced with some extra star wattage courtesy of Helen Mirren and Ed Harris, this diminishing-returns sequel sends Nicolas Cage on another quest to strike it rich, get young auds excited about history and solve puzzles that are generally less stimulating than yesterday's Sudoku...

It contains all the elements from the original film...But that's the problem: It's virtually the same movie with new locations. Oh, plus Helen Mirren. Not a bad addition, but the popcorn fun is gone...

The movie has terrific if completely unbelievable special effects. The actors had fun, I guess. You might, too, if you like goofiness like this...

Those who do not learn from history action films are doomed to repeat them, apparently.

Sadly, while National Treasure 2 was both unchallenging and mindless, the entertainment component was completely lacking...
