Boy oh boy it's Lassie! Set on the eve of WWII in a Yorkshire mining town. After falling on hard times, the Carraclough family are forced to sell beloved bitch Lassie to the Duke of Rudling. When Lassie finds herself transported five hundred miles away to the Duke's remote castle on the northern coast of Scotland, she is determined to defy the odds and return home.

So begins her adventure. Lassie faces dangers natural and human, she finds help in unexpected places, all as she makes her way across the country, to reach home and best friend - wee Joe (Mason) - in time for Christmas.
