Review: Jurassic World

A return to form, but...
A highly entertaining entry into the Jurassic saga with many loving nods to the original. But...It's hard to get past the cringe-y sexism - I'm not even talking about the "heels" (actually didn't mind that): the patronising sister with kids, the poor assistant who's only crime was being a little up herself, the boys immediately clinging to Chris Pratt's alpha male despite just witnessing their aunt take out a pteranodon (he also takes this opportunity to have a pash, naturally)... Such a shame - especially considering it was something noticeably absent from the first film.
"Dinosaur eats man... woman inherits the earth". Not quite yet...
