Review: Hanna

This film can be seen as a standard, fast paced, often thriller with predictable plot twists. However it really was refreshing. What I loved most about this film was the supporting characters (the entertaining Jessica Barden and Tom Hollander's off-beat bad guy especially) and the eerie, dense Cinematography (by Alwin Kuchler). The dark fairy-tale settings beautifully mirrored Hanna's warped childhood. This film, like the villainous Marissa Ziegler, is perfectly coiffed and stylised.
