Guardians of the Galaxy 3D
Marvel's deep space superhero team get a film adaptation. Space adventurer, and self-proclaimed "legendary outlaw", Peter Quill (Chris Pratt) is the object of a bounty hunt after stealing an orb coveted by a treacherous villain. Pursued not only by bounty hunters but a green-skinned assassin as well as the space pirates he double-crossed to pull off the heist, Quill has to assemble a diverse alien team from among his pursuers in order to first survive, and then to prevent destruction on a planetary scale.
The resulting team of misfits is made up of Gamora (Zoe Saldana, Avatar), the powerful Drax (wrestler Dave Bautista); Rocket - a talking raccoon (voiced by Bradley Cooper); and Groot - a tree-creature (voiced by Vin Diesel) who also talks, but with a much more limited vocabulary. From the director of Slither and Super. Also features Lee Pace, Michael Rooker, Benicio Del Toro, Glenn Close, John C. Reilly, and Djimon Hounson.
