From Dusk Till Dawn

From Dusk Till Dawn

(1996)

Frequent collaborators Quentin Tarantino and Robert Rodriguez (GrindhouseFour Rooms) created this mid-'90s cult hit that flips from an intense crime thriller to a wacky action horror.... More

George Clooney and Tarantino are bank-robbing brothers Seth and Richard Gecko. After a messy heist, they take a hostage and head for the Mexican border. When they happen upon a family and their RV, they force them to help cross over to Mexico, with Seth promising to release them afterwards. But just when everything appears to go smoothly, a stop at the bikers bar Titty Twister shoves their plans into the grinder.

This was the film to take Clooney from TV heart-throb to cinema leading man. The following year, he went on to star in the film that shall not be named.Hide
