Edge of Tomorrow
Tom Cruise stars in this action sci-fi as a soldier stuck in a time loop, forced to repeat his last day in a futuristic war with alien invaders. A skilled soldier (Emily Blunt) may be his only means of understanding his temporal displacement. From the director of The Bourne Identity, based on the Japanese novel All You Need is Kill.

Based on the Manga ‘All You Need Is Kill’, the rebranding of this to ‘Edge Of Tomorrow’ started to cause some anxiety in the marketplace over what the film would end up being. After viewing the movie, it becomes apparent that audiences who choose to think this, end up missing one of the best films of the American Summer season. 'Edge Of Tomorrow' places...
Action Packed Deja Vu
Action-a-plenty, Edge of tomorrow delivers a mans helping of brutal alien slaying and futuristic exoskeleton menacing. You can be excused from seeing glimmers of the movies the other reviewers have mentioned above, and then some but this was never going to be an original idea...I mean it stars Tom Cruse and was made for the American movie market. But what...
Edge of Tomorrow
Groundhog Day meets Aliens & Starship Troopers. Sound awesome? It is. Based on the Japanese novel, All You Need Is Kill. Edge of Tomorrow is one of the best science-fiction movies I've seen in a while. A lot more fun than Tom Cruise's boring apocalyptic sci-fi movie Oblivion. Tom Cruise plays Bill Cage, An officer forced into battle, fighting a terrifying...
Edge of Oblivion
For some reason the script and storyline in some of the blockbusters that I have seen so far has been outstanding and I would include Edge of Tomorrow. Tom still has the X-Factor to hold the audience attention and the support cast played their roles to the hilt. I loved some of the locations as well especially being inside the old barn and what a great...
An Alien Invasion
This one does have a great story.A different take on the usual alien movie. These aliens are intelligent and fast.It is not often that we see the human race struggling, even with all their hi-tech equipment. They are no match for these ones. It was gripping right from the start and just never lets go.This is a well thought out movie which leaves a lasting...
Every day is exactly the same, but it's not.
Saw this yesterday (or was it today?!?), one of the best movies I've seen in a while! Great action, good special effects (the Aliens are insane!), really decent story that is funny too. Just a good all-round, enjoyable movie. Tom Cruise was solid (as usual), and Emily Blunt was great too! I'd give it 4.5 stars if I could. Go see it.

Time Out
pressThe film’s Groundhog Day-meets-Independence Day plot is actually pretty genius.

Hollywood Reporter
pressAlthough the humor helps, the Groundhog Day-like repetition gets tedious.

Empire Magazine
pressMimics the best (Aliens, The Matrix, Groundhog Day) while offering something fresh and — most importantly — thrilling.
