Variety
pressThe film is a muddled social-protest thriller that tries to bridge the corrupt machinations upstairs with the desperation of the streets, and can't find a way to connect them convincingly.

Slant Magazine
pressCut Throat City is still an ambitious and volatile film, an atmospheric survey of the thankless world of the rich and the damned.

Chicago Sun-Times
