Bella
The story follows former soccer pro Jose (Mexican star Eduardo Verastegui with a sweet beard) – chef at a nice, Manhattan-based Mexican restaurant – and Nina (Tammy Blanchard), a waitress at the same restaurant. Having just learnt she’s pregnant, Nina arrives late to work and is fired. Jose impulsively ups and leaves his own post, and follows Nina. The two lost souls spend the day together around the city, talking and meeting people. Inspired by a true story, and proclaiming to "celebrate life, love, family, and relationships", Bella shows this one day in New York City and how it changed Joes & Nina’s lives forever.
