Anything For Her

French legal thriller about happily married Lisa (Diane Kruger, Inglourious Basterds) and school teacher Julien (Vincent Lindon) who live a loving and peaceful life with their son, Oscar. But the idyll is shattered when police turn up on their doorstep and arrest Lisa for murder.

She is found guilty and sentenced to twenty years in prison. Julian is convinced of her innocence and, after an appeal fails, he plots to break her out of prison – and out of the country. This bleak thriller is the feature debut of writer/director Fred Cavayé.

A taut thriller. Well made. I has nearly biting my nails at some of the pieces. Well worth seeing.
