The New York Times
While this unrelentingly midtempo movie milks Brooklyn for its chic, it manages to denude it of its color.
Full reviewJustin Long and Evan Rachel Wood star in this indie romcom. A young writer woos a cute barista by studying her Facebook profile and making himself into the man of her dreams. When she falls for his alter ego, he must keep up the act or risk losing her.
Long co-wrote A Case of You based on the the pains of a recent breakup, alongside his brother Christian and friend Kier O’Donnell (who plays his roommate Eliot in the film). Features cameos by Peter Dinklage, Sam Rockwell, Vince Vaughn and Brendan Fraser.

Full reviewA self-aware laffer that indulges in rom-com contrivance up until the point it judo-flips them to its own end.
